I have fed my dogs a home cook diet for over 35+ years. They get to live between 13-17 years . In they end something will eventually get them. But feeding a healthy home cooked diet will help them stay disease free beyond seniors age.

Yes cooking meats kills parasite s that cause cancer.

Make friends with your farmer too! I predigest my dogs food. I feed him like this. No nausea, no diarrhea. Always been concerned about intestinal and bowel health. Part cooked, part raw, always warmed. Lots of bone broth from various sources. I give tripe, heart, liver and kidney rotating. DPN has a basset hound on there. Is that telling about anything? My boy is a basset. Hes about 8 1/2 now. Rescued him at 11 months.

I’ll be careful about feeding dog with cancer collagen that is found in bones and tendons. I looked up studies on cancer and it feeds the cancer.

I use ricks Simpsons oil too. I made suppositories out of it and my dog lasted 2 1/2 years longer than I was she was supposed to, so don’t lose hope.

Thank you, this was very informative. My dog at 17 months old was diagnosed with MCT. He had lumps on his tummy when i got him at 6 weeks, the vet thought it was a hernia and when he had surgery they "repaired" it. unfortunately every time i took him to the vet about the lumps they dismissed it as "puppy acne" or just nothing important. I had to finally take him to a different vet that did biopsies. I do have him on homemade food but they also want me to give him a benadryl everyday. Is there something else i can give him instead? (quail eggs?)Is there anything else i can do for him? He has too many to remove and they just come back anyway. Chemo is not an option as I can't afford it.

Oh Yeah, do some soul work and cleanse yourself of negative stuff. The Heart needs you to do this as well as you gaining the victory against this crap

⁠-my dog had mass cell cancer too, already had surgery and not on chemo. I was paralysed and not knowing what to do- and just starting to look for alternatives food / diet for her. May I ask for you to share your dog food recipe pls?

Did you know that dogs who are in pain or recovering from treatments like chemo need a lot of extra love? Would you like to know where dogs like to be petted or extra loved the most?

Depends on the dog, some really like their necks being rubbed, or their chest, some only like their backs rubbed. Just see what your dog likes best.

Question on bones. I’d love pulverize cooked bones to Powder. But how? Blender won’t do it. Thx

If you have a pressure cooker, that method of cooking the bones allows them to crumble between your fingers - particularly smaller bones. If your blender can blend ice, it can probably pulverize these bones. I’ve done it many times so that I waste as little as possible. 😊

Pureeing is a great way to "pre-digest" food for your dog, and it doesn't lose nutrients. Great idea!

My dog died from mast cell cancer I spent over $6000 trying to save her now my other dog her daughter has lumps . I make my own dog food and add name brand kibble. Adding fresh veggies and fruit. Both my dogs are 90-100 lbs so feeding them cost me most of my groceries. How can I help my one dog with lumps she’s 11 years old
