2005 I was a junkie. In 2 days homeless. My phone could only receive calls , then in a few days shut off. My brother called me and I broke down. He took me home. While I was getting sober I would listen to FF and this is one that pulled me through. Haven't touched it in 15 years. Gainfully employed for 14 year. I call my brother 3-4 times a week and thank him. and also.... Thank you Foo Fighters and I mean that. Thank you very much.

in 1999, I lead a small team of volunteer rescue personal who travelled to Taiwan after the Sept 1999 earthquake. On the way there, the only good music on the flight was the Foo Fighters (Specifically Learning to Fly) and Shania Twain (Leave it there) when things were bad- and they got very bad at times, I would hum learning to fly and get myself grounded. I don't want to say it saved my life and possibly my teams- but it didn't hurt. Every time I hear it I feel motivated.

I didn't know you, Taylor, but I already miss you. You were not only important to one of the best bands ever, but to everyone you touched and inspired with your musical ability. I mean my god, you were the drummer for a band for one of the best drummers ever. You sang QUEEN SONGS like you were next coming of Freddie. Wherever your soul went, I hope you come back soon and show us again what you magically showed us for many years. All I can say is thank you, Taylor, for what you gave us in this lifetime. Also, my condolences to Dave. I know what it's like to lose a best friend. If you ever see this, just know you two will meet again and it will be one rockin' night! and tell all of the angels This could take all night Think I need a devil to help me get things right Hook me up a new revolution Cause this one is a lie We sat around laughing and watched the last one die I'm looking to the sky to save me Looking for a sign of life Looking for something to help me burn out bright I'm looking for complication Looking cause I'm tired of trying Make my way back home when I learn to fly high I think I'm done nursing the patience It can wait one night I'd give it all away if you give me one last try We live happily ever trapped if you just save my life Run and tell the angels that everything is alright. I'm looking to the sky to save me Looking for a sign of life Looking for something to help me burn out bright I'm looking for a complication Looking cause I'm tired of trying Make my way back home when I learn to fly high Make my way back home when I learn to Fly along with me, I can't quite make it alone Try and make this life my own Fly along with me, I cant quite make it alone Try to make this life my own I'm looking to the sky to save me Looking for a sign of life Looking for something to help me burn out bright I'm looking for a complication Looking cause I'm tired of trying Make my way back home when I learn to I'm looking to the sky to save me Looking for a sign of life Looking for something to help me burn out bright I'm looking for a complication Looking cause I'm tired of trying Make my way back home when I learn to fly high Make my way back home when I learn to fly Make my way back home when I learn to, learn to, learn to
