Being erasers did not stop my teachers from taking these. I got in trouble over erasers so much in class. These ones, ones that looked just like actual animals with moving limbs and of course, regular erasers. 90% of the normal non fun erasers I owned I would draw on and make into a toy, my teachers hated me for that. These were a curse for them.

Wow! It's so crazy how memories you have completely forgotten about can be triggered in the snap of a finger! And now I remember it all like it was yesterday. From 1st-4th grade my elementary school's principal was named Mr. Marvin. As incentive for good behavior he invented these little sheets of fake money with dollar bills with his face on them, and called them Marvin Bucks. At the end of each month, a cart would go around school classroom to classroom with a bunch of random cool toys, school supplies, etc. and you could buy things from it with the marvin bucks. I remember vividly buying the foohy eraser caps and I even had that exact lava lamp pencil sharpener! Sucks they would turn black a week after using them from the pencil lead, lol. I also remember NEVER using my foohy heads to erase things because I wanted to keep them as nice as possible, so I would pop it off and use the pencils regular eraser to erase things. Thanks for triggering such a distant memory!! Just think of all the things we have completely forgotten about that we have yet to trigger in our memory!

Hey, like i said on your Live Stream the other day. I think it'll make for a very interesting video for the Dish, and Direct TV, TV games!! I remember as a child back in 2007 getting to go on channel 105 (for dish) and being able to play various games from Disney and Disney XD cartoon lineup. The games i remember for sure being on this service are: Suit life of Zack and Cody, American Dragon, Kim possible, and even some games that were just generic puzzles and i definitely remember this triva game on dish. These games were a big part of my childhood and it would be amazing to even see these games again!

I remember the Foohy erasers from elementary and middle school, but I honestly remember the Foohy games on the website more. I especially remember one game that was like a super low quality first-person shooter flash game. I remember you were shooting at the monkeys they would moon you or something when you missed. I remember playing it at my dad’s work and being super worried that it was considered “inappropriate”. you had to have the foohy head eraser and the lava lamp sharpener 😤💯 I remember I used to draw comics with a foohy superhero and would hand them out to kids in class, it was really fun and really nostalgic for my art journey lol

These types of videos are both charming and a sad reminder of how old I am, given this trend was well after my time growing up in school.

Those 2 in 1 color markers and lava lamp pencil sharpener were the bomb when I was a kid! Although my sharpener had green goo instead of pink.

I had a pink foohy eraser when I was in school. I thought it was a normal eraser. This fad must have passed over my school. Lol.

I forgot all about these. They were so cool. I always felt bad for using them as erasers.

These were a little after my time (I was in late middle school/high school when they came out) But I vaguely remember watching the commercials. Simpler times.

I graduated in 2006, so I never saw these when I was in school. But I used to take pink pearl erasers and use a pen to draw details like tires, doors, and a windshield to make them look like cars. :D

i don't remember these (i was in 9th grade in 2005 when you mentioned them becoming popular, so i think i was just out of their target market), but i love that you pulled such an obscure forgotten product out to make a video on

never heard of these when I was growing up, it was those foam pencil grips and the colored wrist bands that were really popular where I was when I was a school kid

!!! I remember these but never knew they had an actual brand attached to them. I can't recall seeing anything else foohy branded, just the erasers loose around classmate's desks.

I think you’re mostly right, LSuperSonicQ, according to the Images Section of my favorite search engine, Google, it looks like sometime between early 2011 and late 2012 that another Sanford Brand, Paper Mate, seem to have absorbed the entire Foohy Erasers and School Supplies Product Line Products and then begin re-releasing their old products in new generic packaging without any of the old logos from the older and oldest packaging.
