This is my uncle! One of the most important people in my life when it comes to my passion for music and everything I do. A massive influence since I first met him when I was three years old at one of the last Supertramp concerts ever in I think 1982 (OKC). I have been able to see one of his new shows in Palm Springs back in 2015/16 timeframe also saw him perform with the Ring Star band and hang back stage with him and Ringo. So many amazing experiences Rodger has brought into my life, when I was a teenager he gave me a gift of all of the Supertramp albums on CD which seems like a very small gift, but those CD's were put into good use with my new family, wife and kids on long road trips and I still have them all, I collect as much Supertramp vinyl as I can get my hands on and just cannot believe that he is still on the road performing at 71 yrs old and probably will continue for many more years.

this song blows my mind and shows how damn meta Roger can get. This song, based on my research, is basically written intentionally to have a deep, intense meaning imposed by the listener. He confides that it has no "real" meaning but that the meaning that's imposed by the listener will be more valuable than his meaning anyways. it's a song that is like a mirror into yourself. like holy shit *that's fucking incredible*

I was fortunate to see Supertramp in 1979 at the Frankfurt Stadthalle, the second show following the Live in Paris taping. It was surreal, and just perfect in pitch and tone. The world lost a fabulous group when they broke up, and to this day, 45 years later, remains the most incredible concert I have ever seen!

For me Fool's Overture is the best pop/rock song ever. The piano theme could as well have been written by Eric Satie or Dimitri Schostakowitsch. It was the first Supertramp song I ever heard, and since that moment I'm a huge fan. BTW: For me Crime Of The Century is the best pop/rock album ever (although Fool's Overture is not on it ...)

i believe supertramp is the best group in the world in line with the beatles in song composition and how many good song in one album after the other, yes there are many great groups but for how many songs that fallows that is good in an album ,supertramp and the beatles were the best compositors.
