this made me cry, the piano music at the end? so beautiful. it felt like a video that drew parallels between all the motifs in the series - a video equivalent of those web-weaving posts on tumblr that draw parallels based on a theme, between lyrics and art and poetry. it also felt like a goodbye letter, from will to himself, to abigail, to hannibal, or from will to the life he might have had. im not sure how it featured in your utopian lit class, but i'd love to hear if you'd be willing to elaborate!

thank you for your wonderful comment, i love your take on it :') our final project for the class was whatever we wanted to do, people did what they wanted to do. we did not even have a set topic so i wanted to make a video about hannibal and my initial idea was to illustrate will constructing his own utopia, being with hannibal, killing with him etc. that is not something i thought about watching the series tbh, it is just what i came up with when i was thinking about the series in terms of a utopia, but i think this utopian idea can be really interesting too! thank you for your interest, it really made me happy to read your comment 🥺💛
