When determining the appropriate current for welding, does the processor change the pulse width or frequency, based on the feedback?
@Dc_tech386 Жыл бұрын
Ok thanks for information but I have one question does the 2 mosfets use one pwm pulse as in not a alternating switching just forward switching from one single pwm pluse from the gate drivers transformer

Which software you use for showing the circuit, and the power flow in the circuit? Thanks

Is there a reverse polarity of the primary coil or not in this system(forward)??
@FoolishEngineer2 жыл бұрын
There is no polarity to any coil. just the DIRECTION OF THE CURRENT

Sir. Is it necessary to add air gapped Transformer for this converter?

You can use it in DC-DC converter of EVs

Muchas gracias, si bién conocía las topologías mas comunes esta forma me abrió unas cuantas dudas al encontrarla en máquinas de soldadura, no comprendo muy bien el ingles pero mas o menos entendí el concepto.

Can you tell me whats the behavior of the circuit under no load ?
@FoolishEngineer3 жыл бұрын
If there is no load, still the converter will give constant output because of the feedback.
@mdadil92333 жыл бұрын
Will there be much power consumption !!! Or just minimal like in micro Amps.
@vtorsi6103 жыл бұрын
@@mdadil9233 There is more to this circuit than shown in this video, but if switching of the MOSFETS actually STOPS, then the only power consumption will be that of the Feedback Logic. NO-LOAD Mode can be called sleep mode, micro-power stand-by mode or chirp mode. You need to specifically design the feedback circuit to properly handle No-Load Mode - ie soft-start.

This topology is using advantage of transformer (for step down/up that only works for AC) to be used in DC, amazing idea! This is an alternative for converting DC to DC voltage in high power requirement instead of using Buck/Boost converter.

Can we use full bridge rectifier ?
@FoolishEngineer3 жыл бұрын
The Input is DC only, we don't need to use a full bridge rectifier
@garinanggara83583 жыл бұрын
@@FoolishEngineer oh okay thank you. oh btw I, before you answering my question, i try full bridge rectfier, and some how the current at the primary rose so high, the power mosfet at the primary get super hot. could you explain why?
@mdadil92333 жыл бұрын
It may be because... the bridge act as a voltage multiplier. Thatswhy your voltage increased
@leo467283 жыл бұрын
Why the D3 and D4 will on? If on, the current will flow from gnd to Vin. I'm so confusing.
@vtorsi6103 жыл бұрын
NOTE: that D3 and D4 a REVERSED Biased towards Vin. Only when the Mosfets feeding the Primary of transformer are turned off, does the voltage on the Primary become GREATER than Vin. Then, and only then, do diodes D3 & D4 become Forward Biased = ON. The Primary Winding is actually pushing amps back into the Power Supply capacitors! When the the fly-back / kick-back voltage across the Primary Winding drops below Vin, do the diodes ( D3 and D4 ) become REVERSED Biased (again) and turn OFF.
