Importing and scaling your 2D freehand plans in SketchUp is one of the most important things designers do as they make the transition from 2D to 3D concept design. But how do you do this in SketchUp for iPad? Does using the pencil interface make it harder, or easier than with desktop sketch?

Thank you for procreate to sketchup iPad version. I design using procreate with the help of a scaled grid background and transfer to sketchup on PC. The iPad version is a bit awkward to use but will persevere. Thanks again and look forward to future lessons

Have you had any issues with Sketchup freezing after hitting enter on the dimension?

Yes, very frustrating. It’s a bug, sketchup knows about it and says they are working on a fix.

No need to drag the pen to 44 as you can enter the dimension ar any time.

It was just very satisfying to do, and maybe a stronger concept to grasp lol also the larger the distance the more assured that smaller distances will be accurate. Thank you for comment and may I ask how you are using these apps in your professional life?
