Do you have a tip on catching the hard stick passes? Mine keep rolling backwards and not sure if it's the setup on the pass affecting the spin or if my 3-bar touch is just too strong.

You are probably holding the 3 with too much tension. A couple of things you do: 1. Absorb the pass by moving the 3 rod forward as the ball meets it. or, 2. Hold the 3 rod forward enough to catch the ball. Option 2 is easiest. The man should be at about a 45 degree angle (maybe a bit less). Both options require you to keep your hand loose by not gripping too tight. Practice relaxed.

while you're being nice enough to not only just simply demonstrate various passes but additionally explaining some things to the viewers to go along with the passes, I just have one little suggestion you may want to decide to relay to your viewers. since you're explaining five rod stuff , my suggestion is basic but right. and it simply is * the player wants to refrain from attempting to pass over the middle for the simple reason that when the defender blocks those kinds of passes, the block is actually on goal . so they don't wanna give the opponent any extra chances to put the ball on goa*l. simple enough I know and I'm sure you're aware of this cardinal rule of five rod passing but I'm thinking you're viewers may need to get to know this. especially since nowadays a few of the top players like Tony,respectively, are breaking this cardinal rule and succeeding at it. and many of us can . however for the viewers it's just not worth the risk. hope this helps in a small way in your efforts to help the viewers and spread the foos fever . glad to see you are taking the time to help the foos world potentially gain some more competitors. and I surely hope this cardinal rule helps their competitive efforts. cause it hurts in a discouraging way to get STUFFED on goal from the five row, right- especially for newer or less experienced players. keep on pushin my friend
