Can foot drop along with neuropathy and numbness could be cured without surgery?
@samkitty5894 Жыл бұрын
This 12 minute video was more beneficial to me than seeing doctors and specialists over the last 7 months. I haven't been diagnosed yet...It started with persistent tingling in my right foot, and the numbness of the toes on this foot. Then suddenly and without warning this turned into foot drop. With my foot on the floor I can not lift up my toes. Movement to the left and right can be measured in millimeters. I can however lift up my heel off the floor. I can push down on my toes a little bit. As if this wasn't bad enough, my problems the also continued on the left leg. I lost a knee jerk reflex there. I can not do straight leg lifts. The knee on this leg became a "trick knee", which can collapse without warning. If I'm lying on my right side and lift my left leg up it will drift backwards, and I'm unable to stop it. I was seen by PCP, spine specialists, neurologists, hematologists, and other specialists. X-rays, MRAs, CT scans, hundreds of blood work types, etc, and not even close to being diagnosed. Extremely frustrating...

I first experienced drop foot in 2002 in my left foot. Over the years I've also lost the use of both my calf muscles. My thighs and hamstrings are unaffected. I've seen multiple neurologists, neurosurgeons, chiropractors, physiotherapists with no change. I've had an MRI scan , several CAT scans, a back X-Ray scan and blood tests, all without revealing what is the problem.

I am similar. Get some genetic tests done if you haven't. My calves are wasted and there's no muscle. I have foot drop in my right foot. My thighs and hamstrings are also unaffected. I was eventually diagnosed with a distal hereditary motor neuropathy caused by mutation in vrk1 gene. I've been suffering for 2 years.

The answer is, that is a genetic problem brother, no one one can heal any disease cause by genetic problem

Sorry for the confusion. "And one" is a basketball reference, like you get fouled make the basket and have a chance to make the free throw. The sciatic nerve is PED + 1 (and one) ... the and one being knee flexion due to its innervation of the hamstrings. Does this help?
