FOOTAGE FOUND! H.R. Pufnstuf at the Tournament of Roses / The Rose Parade Follow up!

In one of my earlier shorts I discussed how the characters from H.R. Pufnstuf had a float at the Tournament of Roses / The Rose Parade sometime in 1970 and how it only had two photos showing it happened. Well now after digging deep through many videos I finally found a short clip of it in action!

Tournament of Roses info : Since 1890 The Rose Parade, also known as the Tournament of Roses Parade is an annual parade held mostly along Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, California H.R. Pufnstuf info : H.R. Pufnstuf is a musical live action tv show made back in 1969 by brothers Sid and Marty Krofft which ran for 17 episodes. the plot is about Jimmy ( played by Jack Wild ) and his pal a talking golden flute named Freddy ( voiced by Joan Gerber ) who get lured to Living Island by the evil and wacky witch named Witchiepoo ( played by Billie Hayes ) who wants Jimmy as prisoner and Freddy the Flute all to herself. After they escape they witches boat the wash up on the shore of Living Island where they are found and protected by the mayor of the island , a friendly dragon named H.R. Pufnstuf (voiced by Lennie Weinrib and performed by Roberto Gamonet.) I also discovered the name of the float thanks to a scan of a book from the event! The floats name was "Holiday on Living Island" which matches the hard to see text on the front of the float!
