When Penn State football player Kyle Vasey showed up for to practice one day, he had no idea his life was about to change. During their huddle, coach James Franklin started asking players who worked a job on the side, singling out Kyle to answer.

Man almost 40 hours a week at work then probably another 25 hours a week at school/study and then another 15-20 hours a week with football practice and games. He is probably so happy he finally has time to get some sleep at night now? Congrats and I hope he accomplishes great things in the future.

I worked both a full time and part time job at home nursing while going to college full-time too until I had a very bad car accident.... Been a couple decades, never fully recovered, but I work full time, just not in nursing anymore, can't due to injuries, so I can't complain so long as I can do something.

I was fortunate enough to be present when someone else got a full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London. He was about to take part on a public concert when the choirmaster broke the news to everyone. The relief this football player must be feeling would so great, it's no wonder he was crying. Now he will have time to study, rather than staying awake all night working.
