And here's why the part where he didn't support Boca in 2018 becomes a critical fact: last year, the club had elections and Milei said several times that he would support the opposition, Mauricio Macri, former Boca Juniors president (and another Argentinian ex-president). During the elections day there was a natural disaster which destroyed the Bahía Blanca Town. Instead of prioritizing the survivors of that disaster, he went to Boca to vote for Macri. Boca supporters who were there to vote actively swore him for being a corrupt SOB, an accomplice of Macri in his plan of privatizing football, and of course, celebrating River's win at the most important Libertadores final against Boca.
