Kieran tierney is a great young fullback, not the cheapest, but basically ready for high level clubs as a starter as soon as he’s signed. Can be difficult to sign though because Celtic rejecting big clubs bids doesn’t really upset him, so it’s always down to the club.

The only way is to get them into F11 or loan them with priorities of getting F11 into the loanees' teams..I've using Chelsea about 3 months (time game) and during pre-season I've using them into my F11 and their progress quite impressive as they perform better than expected And also you need to check your youth's coaches as well..as this also will affect your wonderkids and youths to progress impressively

if you want to develop young talent better manage barcelona, juve, ac milan, tottenham, man utd, liverpool because they already have excellent young talents in their youth squad instead of managing smaller clubs and try to find wonderkids. FM18 has big problem like seriously, most wonderkids now range from 81-198 million while most team have just a budget of 30-60 million
