I love president Perez but he was so wrong for getting rid of Del Bosque and Makelele while taking the captaincy away from Hierro. That team could have and should have won so many more titles (think about the talent in that team) it's actually a shame lol. He chose to sign Beckham instead of Ronaldinho because Becks was prettier. Lol what a man. Thankfully he left, we had our trophy drought ..he came back and now we have won 3 UCL titles in a row and 4/5. Let's hope this season isn't the beginning of another trophy less period and rather a bad league season followed by the 14th after the sale of Cristiano. Nonetheless, Hala Madrid y Nada Mas ❤️

They were a good side in the late 90's but definitely not the best - Juventus were superior but they got lucky and won the CHL in 1998 with a goal from offside.Juve had by far the best squad in the mid to late 90's but won only one European cup and lost finals against Dortmund and Real where they were much better but didn't play their game.However, this Madrid was never that dominant, but very lucky side nontheless.The only real quality team was in 2002
