@@brospros6327 No, I did. It is an unfortunate reality that he’s missing, and we’ll definitely be aching from his absence at certain potentially key points. But this isnt the SOL. Where the 22 or 23 defense would crumble without him, this year I think they’ll still be able to hold their own. Our secondary is already bearing fruit and our safeties are settling in. Yes, QBs wont be nearly as pressured/sacked as they could be, and the defense is still working some things out-but that happens for any defense that overhauls their roster in any capacity. It’s growing pains. The team quite literally *has* to recover and move on-what are they doing in this sport otherwise?

@matrixphijr Күн бұрын
@@Will-fk2dk No, lol. I'm not a fan, why would I watch them? They're 31st because that only goes by yards allowed. They're better in other categories because they've also had to deal with the 3rd most pass attempts against them. And no one else has had to face Mahomes, Prescott, Allen, Burrow, and Daniels in 5 of their games. They gave up 360 and 370 in two of those games, in every other they've held to under 300 yards. And their run defense is the best in terms of ypc, and it's not even close -- only the VIkings have given up less overall rush yards by 18, but it's on 24 less attempts -- so teams throw against them, a LOT. 37 times per game on average. So no, they're not "getting beat week after week", they had 2 bad games but have done their job in the other 4. I love Chris Godwin. It helps that I also have him in two fantasy leagues this year but he is one of the most quietly elite receivers in the league. Something about Tampa bay WRs always stay out of the spotlight but always produce in a consistent basis. Our defense in the secondary needs some work though if we’re going to make any sort of playoff run this year.

Both. Mostly just stupid coaching though. Travis is a finesse guy and they basically were just running him into a wall to start the season. He has been regressing though as far as ball control and I put that mostly on coaching+ I think he has been playing hurt. I know he is hurt now. Tank is our power back who will make a hole, and so they basically give the 3rd stringer the carries today for some reason. It is just utter incompetence at the coaching level.

No. They did the right thing. Let him sit and observe for a few games and give him first team reps in practice. They are not going anywhere and this is where some other teams have destroyed their rookie QBs. If he had started game one, there is no way he would have performed like this.

The lions are all absolute dawgs. Losing hutch is going to light a fire. Even after he got injured and the lions all had tears in their eyes, it seemed like all the aura was sucked out of the team, and then they continued to pound dallas both offensively and defensively. Gonna make a big trade, probably sacrifice a 1st round pick or 2, get ourselves another edge rusher so that when hutch is back next year, the lions dynasty of the late 2020s begins.

I’d love to know your thoughts on Kyler Murray’s play this year. There’s so many cardinals fans and people around the league that are saying he’s been the problem all along, but every time I hear analysis from coaches it’s that he’s insanely hard to gameplay against. I think you absolutely can not blame him for the game yesterday, but it’s so frustrating when we are competitive against the 49ers and get destroyed like this right after.

The Cardinals are playing like the team I expected. They haven't won in back to back games, since December of 2021. That included the Russell Wilson led Hawks, and the Andy Dalton led Bears. We might learn somethings about both the 9ers and Chiefs next week, but KC only has five tough games left : 9ers ( off a bye ), Bucs, Bills, Texans, and Steelers. Even if KC loses to the 9ers, they are likely to be a 12+ win team. The Commanders look legit even in that loss. That Aidan Hutchinson is going to loom large, because he is the scariest part of their defense.
@TheCountofToulouse

The Ravens are always good during the regular season, so, not sure what "back" means. The Cowboys window has officially CLOSED forever. They have NO running game and they decided to skip on King Henry, which is one of the reasons Baltimore is doing REALLY well right now. Without a feature back, you can't get a defense out of dime packages or stop them from blitzing.

The Seahawks had a really bad stretch of games where they suffered way too many defensive injuries and the sad fact is, they were on the field for too long. Lions are a really good team, and Seahawks played well enough to make fans come away from that game happy, but then we had the next two games. The Giants commanded the game having the ball for 37 minutes compared to the 22 mins of the Seahawks. Seahawks usually are able to capitalize after a huge play and we absolutely did not in the game against the Giants, including the huge Geno run ending with nothing. 49ers also dominated the Time of Possession but not as much as the Giants with 33 mins to 26 mins. This was the first game as well that Geno threw interceptions that were fully his fault. And I think this game proved... Geno Smith should not be a starting QB in the 2025 season, he's the kind of QB that can carry a few games, but he's the type of reliable guy you would rather have come off the bench to save a season if your starter goes down, like Joe Flacco, instead of the everyday starter who can give you a 300 yard day and you still feel like he played worse than a QB who had a 214 yard day (Since Kyler Murray did NOT throw an Int in their loss). Geno Smith is a bridge, and it's time we stop wobbling on the bridge and find the QB who can develop connections with our great receiving core. The Cowboys in spite of a game like this still weirdly look like a team that can make playoffs, and I think there is a really big answer on how they can. Convince the Saints to trade Alvin Kamara. You can probably make it cost not too much by taking in a massive majority of his contract to limit the dead cap that hits the Saints, and the Cowboys CAN afford him (although 2025 will take some restructuring), but he would be such a massive weapon and the Saints should start their rebuild by trading a few of these older guys for draft picks that can help them build a team like the Texans have.
