Even though I'm an Everton fan and never enjoy seeing them get beat it was great to watch a proper old fashioned match. Players actually seemed like they were playing a game in this since the play was exciting and organic, much better than the football of today where football's become methodical and boring.

This was my first match watching the Rams.I would have been 8yo.Many hundreds of games both home and away in the 50 years since ⚽👍🐏

Everton went on to win the English 1st Division with a record 66pts. (2 pts for a win back then).....Alan Ball scored the winner at Goodison (1-0)...for the return against Derby Co..they were a tough team to play against....Clough was a legend!....💙
