I had a random memory I wanted to share here. Buying shoes in the 70s and 80s was an experience. Someone would measure your foot then bring out several styles. You would sit in a chair and an employee would sit across from you on a stool that had a ramp where you would rest your foot. The employee would take the shoes out of the box and remove paper stuffed in the toe then lace them up and put your foot into the shoe. Then press on your toe to check fit and have you walk around to try them out. I think this only happens now at Nordstrom? It’s definitely not the rule but the exception. Most places that sell shoes are “do it yourself” type places. The employee doesn’t know anything and doesn’t want to learn or know anything about shoes. Just a warm body there to retrieve merchandise and ring up the sale while barely making eye contact. Not that I want someone to serve me, I just miss the old days sometimes. Thanks for reading.

I also remember shoe shopping being like this, it was always one of my favourite things about back to school shopping ❤ I recently went and barely received any help but when I went to leave empty handed since they didn’t actually have the shoe I wanted, they persisted well we have this colour in the same style and I said yes I know, but I’d really rather the colour I wanted, and they persisted to say well we can order it online then, and that was the only help I received, crazy they just wanted the sale so badly..

A family member of mine got the wrong knee replaced. Both were bad but one was significantly worse than the other (he was going to get the other done in the next 5 years) & so he had to do all the rehab while still dealing with the really bad knee. Yes he sued but the money he received was not worth the pain & suffering. He was a fit 69yr old before his knees started going bad now he’s in his mid-late 70s & in much poorer health.

I have that extra toenail on the pinky toe.. I had no idea it was an extra toenail,i thought it was just overgrown from the original nail.. I have had to remove it myself several times throughout my life,due to the tremendous pain it caused when working jobs where I'm on my feet for many hours.. And it's genetic, I didn't know that, I'll have to ask my brothers and sisters if they have it.. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I love the way you explain things and you're beautiful! 😊

I saw a that clip with the kids with the no bottom shoes on Dr.Karan’s channel. It showed the guy with feet still clean after supposedly walking barefoot on street and in store. So it’s all CAP to get views.😒 Chiropractors are not all what they are cracked up to be. The cracking of joints make sound and feel satisfying. However these “adjustments” can cause temporary to even life time injuries. Do not let any of these bozos adjust your neck. There are people who have become paralyzed after “treatment”. What is worse is that injuries from Chiropractors can stay unnoticed for years. 😠
