Gosh Lucy, you deserved those two (or was it three?) tipples. Lara is a handful with her head shaking bit avoidance and her steam train impressions. I remember from my hunting days that riding over paddocks with 50 other horses can get quite fast! Suddenly the softest mouth goes as hard as a rock. Well done for keeping it all under control.

Hounds speaking and a horn. My hair stands on end. That mare is so like my old girl who used to take my arms out at the sockets. Always took the flyer and jumped things that were ridiculous. It took me right back to my Heythrop days. Lovely day out Lucy. Great Mare

I always love seeing Laragh enjoying herself. Were you able to move the next day. I get so stiff after rides like that. Forgive me for asking, it's been a while since I learned about tack. Would you use a martingale on Laragh to help with her control? I normally play polo and they are very helpful with the bigger steads.

Taking ex racers before they’re ready is hard. Mine went twice and it took about two weeks for her to calm down after. After that I took her to endurance rides which she was great at! She loved to be in front

What are the bloodhounds running after? Or do they just run to the finish point? That looks like so much fun! I never did anything like that with dogs but we would go across the fields from my house to the state park about 5 miles away. It was a blast.
