In this video I am installing the GT Continental Footrest System on the Interceptor 650. After changing the stock handlebar to a lower and more retro-style alternative, I also wanted to have the footrests match the sportier riding position.
Overall, I really like the changed foot position. Shifting feels a bit more direct now , since the GT gearshift comes without the linkage. Also it feels more comfortable in the back in connection with the arm position.
You only need to buy the parts that are shown in the beginning:
- Heelguards
- Gear Lever and Brake Pedal
- RH & LH Bracket
- ( + 4 additional screws to mount the heelguards )
The rest ( footpegs, springs, screws etc. ) can be taken from your stock system.
