In 1963, when planning A Fistful of Dollars, Sergio Leone told Morricone that he wanted music that had never been heard in Westerns before, but was unmistakably about the West. I don't believe either of them realized that they were about to change both Western movies, and their music, forever.

Gr8 music... wish I knew the album/CD this was taken from. There are a number of releases, but the tracks here are the best versions I've heard and would love to purchase the LP or CD. Too many of the albums I've heard contain undesired sound effects that were part of the movie.
