Whoo HOO! Both an awesome watch...and Mr Dan is going to the dark side of servicing quartz...which I am super grateful since I am a very proud owner of multiple 7548s, Tunas, etc...expect some more business coming your way Mr. Blair.

What a beautiful tank of a watch! It always amazes me how robust these Seiko quartz movements from this era are. Incredible little machines. How you spotted the wear on the finger of that advancing wheel is beyond me. Eagle eyes! The watch is now ready for the next 40 years of service lol. What an absolute beast of a timekeeper! Thanks for sharing!

It is absolutely stunning. Better in person than on the video. You really have to know what to look for with some parts. There are telltale signs that provide clues. Thanks for watching!

Great video.Nice to see someone else other than Spencer using the Quartz Timer machine, yours is even older (QT-77) but in much better condition!! Regards from 700B owner.

I had my 1979 Pepsi 7548 serviced several months ago. It has been running great except for the day wheel gets hung up about once per week. I guess the person who serviced mine did not notice the same issue this one had. No big deal because I can just click it over manually if it doesn't go on its own. Mine looks a lot like this one - just enough fade on the bezel - chef's kiss!

Is that your dog snoring in the background? 😁❤ That watch is in beautiful condition. A pleasure watching you make it roadworthy again!

Yes... they are always behind me and snoring up a storm.

Great work, a questions though ...you never mention pressure / water resistance test, do you also perform these as well ?
@BlairWatchProject Жыл бұрын
I don't pressure test any vintage watch as I don't warranty for water resistance. I would never encourage anyone use a vintage near water as it's just not worth the risk.

You are don’t use any oil to lubricate movement, is it really not necessary?
