I got 2 of those seahorses for my Classics Mermista and Mer-man. The idea was not mine, of course, it was suggested on the forums. I preordered them as soon as I knew about this mash-up possibility. They look great, but because of the metallic colors, I think it looks even better with NE Mer Man.

That is awesome! I agree NE Mer-Man is definitely the best suited for this seahorse... but those are some great choices too... especially Mermista with that metallic blue tail (even though with that option, it is a lot harder for her to ride that way.) 🙂

This is Awesome, Mer-man was my first He-man figure. Probably before the cartoon series. I remember him being bogeyed, and they made him so dumb in the cartoon. Although they made all the bad guys pretty thick, except Skeletor. I do wonder if you could do this mashup for other characters. Beast man could do with an Awesome ride. Trapjaw could do with some sort of machine ride. And all the rest. It would make for a great cavalry charge

No freebies from Mattel unfortunately... (unfortunate especially for my wallet! 😀) Entertainment Earth has been amazing recently, they were first to ship an initial batch of Skeletor & Bone Thrones and Vypor. But Masterverse Wave 14 first batch came from my local cbm. Diamond Distributing (who supplies all our local cbms) was the first to get these. And Storm I got from Amazon, only to realize they are 50% Off at the official DC Shop right now! An amazing price!

@@foreterniaofficial ah ok. That makes sense. Usually when a channel has a lot of subscribers and views they want their products reviewed. But I guess there are so many channels they don’t have to do that anymore. They could at least give you a half price thank you lol! I have the Seahorse-Dragon in my cart at Amazon. But I’m afraid that I won’t be able to get a Merman. The word is out already and it’s the best figure in the quartet. He usually is. But this version is wonderful for the price! I think I am going to get the Sea Dragon but don’t want to get stuck with it if Merman is impossible to get.

I love the Aquaman films... it's like MOTU, but with more fish. Why else would you have Dolph Lundgren play an Atlantean king? Oh, and here's a fun fact... in Japan, seahorses are often referred to as "baby dragons." So referring to Storm as a "Seadragon" is not only badass, it's thematically on-point.

Sea dragons are actually a real creature but the anatomy is all wrong on this dude to be a sea dragon, only thing sort of right is the posture. It's as if you merged a sea dragon and a sea horse.
