A genius of our time. As said in the comments before, the best written song of musical theatre that I can remember in my 50 odd years. We are blessed to have lived in the same era as Stephen Swartz and Wicked. Thank you for life changing moments ❤

I love this! Hearing it from the composer tells us how it truly sounds. Love this song! I'm a navy brat so I move around every three years, so I have to say good bye a lot. My favorite line is It well may be that we will never meet again. So much of me is made of what I learned from you. Those are so relative to my life.

I've lost touch with the music of Wicked lately, but this is the third performance I've seen of "For Good" this week. Between Lea Michele and Chris Colfer on Glee, Kristen Chenoweth on Idol, and Stephen Schwartz here, I don't think I can handle the awesomeness (and I mean that in the true sense of the word).

Can anyone explain the small physical gesture he keeps making with his left hand as he takes it off the keyboard while playing the piano? You can see him doing it in videos way back in the early 70s and to this day, but I've never seen anyone else do it.
