Alright, new hero speculations. In the livestream they said the seasonal story is: The Cataclysm separated the Arabian Peninsula from the continent After Heathmoor's bad luck recently, the Sultana opened water routes to the, now, Arabian Island Vortiger sends Hero Skin that isn't Tiandi to get Prophecy Mcguffin She sees what she needed to see, destroys Mcguffin, and kills the Sultana My bets are either Hashashin or Janissary. See the last two shots (not counting the season pass at the very end) of the video for what I assume are peaks at the new hero. I believe the new hero is an avenging party of the Sultana in some way, whether or not it's the Sultana or not, because Allah forbid the devs make blank heroes again instead of specific characters. Hashashin were, in this context, assassin's that obeyed a certain Muslim sect/law. So if the Sultana (the state) matched the beliefs of Hashashin, the Hashashin might avenge the assassination with their own. The last shot of the video seems to fit this one more as opposed to the Janissary. Also, Ubisoft is coming out with Assassin's Creed Mirage so multi-platform marketing might be at play. However, I would PREFER to get a Janissary. Personal guards of the Ottoman Sultans and elite auxiliary infantry units. The second to last shot reminds me of a Janissary, but I think it's the Sultana "getting assassinated". Janissary used axes (I would prefer a tabar), the kilij (think "Heavy Scimitar"), and were skilled archers. They later used firearms and Turkish Janissaries used the yatagan. Although not purely Arabian, the Ottoman Empire covered alot of ground (I think Vlad the Impaler was a Janissary). I recommend researching these topics on your own and remember that I'm just some dude likes swords/history and I am not a reliable source. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk.

Wait, who's that silhouette standing across from the BP in that final image? That might be our new hero. Sadly, the silhouette doesn't show much. The head seems to have something curving out in the back, which could either be hair or headwear with a flap on the back similar to the Janissary börk. They seem to be holding something that resembles the curved hilt that one-handed swords and daggers in the Middle Eastern style tend to have like that of the kilij, the scimitar or the shamshir, but the blade itself is obscured. Of course, it's hard to tell how much of the silhouette is the silhouette and how much is just gaps in the flame, so all of that could be wrong.

So what i guess, ottoman character. You can see alot of stuff that hint it out. Like the wolf (holy animal in the old turkic religion, the ancestors of the turkic people and ottoman) the bloodmoon wich was seen as a warning to a devestating even coming but seen as a loose of the enemy for the ottomans. Then the sultan being brought up wich is the weakest hint and at last, the weapon at the end that women is holding, looks alot like a shamshir
