I had the Sedan version, just sold it 2 years ago. This fastback is a much nicer body style.

I remember these from growing up. Interesting how different we see them in today’s world vs. how we saw them back then. What seemed sleek and modern then looks so different in the context of today’s world.

Very nice! Great sound. I would yank off the skirts, visor and those headlight visors but to each his own. Oh, those dangling fuzzy dice would be gone before I could drive it !

I could hear the universal joints rattling just a bit and that means replacing them at a later time.

Nice rare 4-door fastback. I can see from the shorter pushrod cover on the right side of the engine that it's a later model 235, and not the original antiquated 216 babbitted rod bearing engine that came in these. The 235 was always a better upgrade for '52 and older Chevys. I also like the aftermarket Williams, 2-piece cast-iron split exhaust manifold for the dual exhaust. Lastly, I hope that squeaky clutch pedal got fixed before this went on the market. That obnoxious squeak is very annoying and a major distractor for this nice car. This was a common issue when the rubber grommet wears out (where the pedal passes through the floor opening).
