For Sale 1963 Chevy Impala SS $32,995

My first (Dad's) car. What a rust bucket ! What saved it was the fact that my first real job through HS & college was working as a gas jockey & grease monkey in a gas station & repair shop. Rust started to break through at the quarter panels by '65 ! Body by Fisher SUCKS. I learned my mechanics at that station as a very good mechanic helped me along with all the repairs. Eventually had to put 2 replacement doors & fenders on. Remainder of car had more bondo on it than metal. Was painted twice at Earl Sheibs ( $29.95). But i loved it; 2 dr, 283 w/powerglide ( wished it were a 4-speed). Have often thought about finding another one, but i'm too old. I'd pass on this one though. Overpriced & it has the usual problems about to get worse.
