Totally beautiful. A magnificent sounding guitar played superbly.
@Soytu197 жыл бұрын
Michajeru Oh yes so beautiful and so tender!!! not at all to my ears this sounds boring and without real projection. I only hear the well known tender guitar sound, nothing more.

you guys are lucky, for 15K you can get a top flyer Guitar, we poor violinists have to spend more than 250K for an old Italian instrument.

lattice are like beehives. once you played that guitar, you will hear such a deep, dark, and circular sound. very nice guitar!

sounds fantastic. I see a few of the self proclaimed "experts" are being critical of how bad they think the smallman sounds. this is one of the most beautiful sounding instruments available. bright clear tones and great sustain. I'd love to own one.

Mark Lis hahah so you are enlightened now! I just think you are one opinion amongst many, you are more than entitle your opinion but i don’t believe the price tag is warranted for these guitars, they sound great... but again you’re entitled to yours.

What strings were used when recording sound?
@eschelar11 жыл бұрын
Masterful. And the sound is delicious. I have a smallman replica and it's interesting because it has the same character of sound, but falls short for in sweetness, warmth and sustain. You just can't get that top-shelf quality without the actual top-shelf quality... heh. Kinda like a Porsche 914vs 911. Same principles. Different results. Of course, yours might be a particularly good Smallman, since many recordings I have heard of John W's Smallman also fall short of what I heard in this vid.

thanks for your comment. However, I'm selling it for a friend of mine who found he doesn't play it often enough to warrant keeping it and would rather it find another home.

Does the guitar come complete with left and right hands like the ones in the video. All joking apart: lovely guitar and brilliantly played.

I wish I could afford such a guitar... I am a classical guitar teacher and my current guitar costs 1.500 euros. I feel bad when I other soloists or teachers ask me about my guitar. My friend, if you can read this and if it means anything for you, keep your lovely guitar. I would never sell such a guitar if I ever had one...

Nice sounding recording, but it would be more helpful to those trying to decide whether to shell out such a large sum of money to hear the instrument COMPLETELY naturally, without all the studio effects. There is WAY too much studio echo on this, and digital effects can hide a multitude of sins.
@DonPianoProductions9 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. The reverb is from the church it was recorded in.
@Yngsatchvai9 жыл бұрын
You would never ruin the natural sound of a instrument of this quality with reverb, even in the studio.
