This house featured prominently in an episode of Midsomer Murders! I recognized it immediately from the show. Its wonderful to see so much footage of it, thank you. In the show they mostly featured the living room- in fact that’s where the episode’s murder took place!

Let's hope another family purchase it and have great memories growing up in it. I love seeing The Homewood property and enjoy Gwynnes work. I think these properties do need bringing sympathetically up to modern living requirements though.

Not as beautiful as this one, far from it, but we've bought a house which was inherited by two sisters last year. Just like these sisters, it was lovely hearing their stories and memories as they grew up in that house where their parents had lived ever since the sisters were born. In the end they chose to sell it to us, not because our bid was the best but because we wanted to turn it into a family house and create our own story with it. Unlike this house, the house we bought needed lots of work. For the past year it's been a very enjoyable project renovating it while at the same time respecting it's 1970's origin.

This is a wonderful house and home , its lovely to be told who lived there and how they lived and who designed it . unfortunate that its now filled with the ephemera of life itself , the walls peppered with frames of pictures that dont look right in that style of home . I think its amazing though . I hope its not changed in the future and will be presented to the nation .

Great bones and a stunning landscape. With some sympathetic updating - particularly to the glazing - it could be perfection, and not badly priced. The nasty octagonal feature window would have to go though…
