I have a Blueridge BR-160 A.....one of the best guitars ive owned and ive owned several Martins..... The sound for the value is UNREAL! NO, IM NOT CONNECTED WITH Ben...lol

Ok can I get some advice since banjoBen has played both. The alvarez masterworks md60 or this br-140 by blueridge which one sounds better? Which one should I buy? I can’t get an answer on which one is more bang for their buck?

How would you compare for example a Yamaha LL6 to a Blueridge 160? Which would you say is the best for playing bluegrass?

Sounds good man, got mine years ago at pawn shop, got question, the nut on mine comes off when changing strings should I use super glue? Not sure what they use I just don't want to effect sound or future problems doing wrong.

Yeah, just a couple drops of super glue is fine...something to keep it from moving.

I had one. Loved it, but someone wanted to trade me for G&L Bluesboy. Couldn't resist. I might buy a Blueridge again one day. Great bang for the buck.

I bought a Martin DXAE 2 years ago. For playing backup rhythm, I think it sounds pretty good. But for taking breaks, I'm not happy with the lack of volume, and the tone isn't too fantastic either. Now that I'm playing more shows, I realize I probably need to upgrade pretty soon. So far this one has caught my attention the best. Can you get pretty loud volume out of this one??

I have a br160 and love it. But what’s the nut width on the 140?

I have blue ridge BR 40. And I let my. Martin get away from me years ago. But this Blue ridge sounds better than my old Martin so you can keep your Martin but you ain't getting my Blue ridge. ,,
