i made this movie in 2007 but never published it. steve jobs' death reminded me of it. in 2000 i was living in a trailer park when apple released the iMac DV, the first consumer machine that could edit video. i maxed out my credit card and got one. no film school, it was that computer that got me into films and provided me with the career i have today. sad to lose steve jobs.

Watching on my iPad and this brought me to tears. When I was in middle school I was so into the digital stuff and especially all the new phones that comes out like almost every week. Then iPhone came out. I remember watching the keynote of Steve Jobs introducing this magical machine. I could barely understand him because my English wasn't good back then but my jaws just dropped because the phone was just so amazing. He truly reinvented the mobile phone. Having an apple product has brought me so much joy over the years, and I miss watching the keynotes of Steve jobs introducing the new products. RIP Steve.

There was some innovation at Apple - the first 17-inch laptop, multi touch technology, that everybody uses now. But he was no innovator. Innovators were the people who worked at Apple, he just approved or disapproved of certain projects, and then presented the finished devices. I have recently bought an Apple, but it just doesn't work for me. Windows platform has a WAY greater versatility. And the fucking pathetic move to suddenly cut off all of the PowerPC hardware from software upgrades... Possible only at Apple - where only your money matters. Movable and customizable widgets, nope once again the iphone didn't have that feature. While the first version of android which would be donut or cupcake I forget which one did not even use the same color scheme as ios since ios used more darker tones for the status bar and settings while android used a gray color scheme for it's settings and status bar. They looked nothing a like.

Watching this in December of 2018, idk how many times it’s been now, I’ve lost count. Even today, I miss Steve. Not because of what Apple is today, don’t get me wrong it’s great, but I get super nostalgic when I look back at when Steve was still alive. I want to thank Mr. Steve Jobs for creating the products on which I am able to succeed and create my projects every day. I want to thank him for having his products be a big part of my life. So even today, 7 years later, I was to say Rest In Peace Steve. Even when you’re in heaven, you’ll inspiring everyone still here on Earth.
