When it comes to party composition, it really comes down to one thing for me Items If everyone in the party uses, say, strength based weapons, all the other weapons you get are useless, and you have to split what strength weapons you do have very thinly However, there is another camp That being "if we all do a shit ton of damage very quickly, the enemy doesn't get a turn" So if you can make that happen, throw out everything you know about party composition

I main Woodcutter and that glass cannon bit is true as hell However I managed to absolutely jack my woodcutter's evasion up to 58 and almost never took damage with 18 defense and 9 resist. Not to mention I was pumping out damage numbers left and right with stuns and full party bleeds

I disagree with your final tip of putting the tank in the middle. It's better to put him on the side, with your high evasion class in the middle. The point of taunting is to safe your fragile characters from damage, and forcing the ai to aim in the middle is detrimental if they go for splash damage abilities. Keeping the tank on the side means only one other character also gets hit by splash, ensuring this is your evasion class also means they're likely to just dodge this splash. It's important to remember that splash damage is not the same as aoe damage.

I agree with you here, having an evasive guy in the middle is very good. But I sort of count guys you're building massive evade into as sort of a tank. So essentially, I'm just saying try and make your guys in the middle ready to take damage. But you're absolutely correct, I should've made that a bit more clear, thanks for the feedback!

Hobo sometimes starts with 75 for all stats (but luck) he seems the strongest tbh just because throughout a game he will naturally mold into the best class he can become. After using other classes hobo seems too strong to pass up.

When you are playing on the easiest difficulty, Hobo will become 75 in all stats. But the easiest difficutly is almost like a different game since you have more lives and focus and less chaos. So for that difficulty, I would have to agree that Hobo is very strong.

@@Beansly I just got the game since it is free, but I was wondering if you knew how a staff could break without being breakable. I bought a yew staff with all my gold and on the next fight with a bisonsaur champion andI took a hit which destroyed the yew staff and I was left with no weapon. I know that there is a fragile/breakable icon but the yew staff didnt have this when it broke and I didnt fail an attack leading to the break. I just got hit by the bisontaur.

Ah right, I'm fairly certain bisontaurs have an attack which can break equipment. Quite a few later game enemies can have this too, so be careful!
