I would like to mention crows, which live throughout the world; particularly in relation to areas where people live. Crows are sacred in Tibetan Buddhism and they are known as Mahakala (The Great Time). The great time that transcends life, death and the eternal world of spirit. I love all birds, but I have a special appreciation of crows and their higher consciousness.

Abigail Ball Crows are incredible! Ravens are pretty amazing too.

The magpies and crows that visit my yard every day are more near and dear to my heart than any birds I have ever known. I look so forward to the young ones every summer with their noisy chatter (I can't speak for my neighbors)! Listening to the magpies sing-speak soothes my soul and gives me a much-needed respite from the human world. Corvids are special.

The love of birds as a gateway to appreciate all forms of nature. Wonderful words from an inspirational man. I also like that they can be called The Feather-makers. Very cool.

it's official. Kenyan accents are hot. When a kenyan speaks in english, they sound close to french accents with a dash of indian, wrapped in silk.... i'll go now.

People are the gods of this planet. After rescuing all sorts of animals, from dogs, cats, horses, guise, birds and I have found that it was one of the most rewarding things to do by nurturing back abused and injured animals and I hope everyone can find the strength to help each other and our animal kingdom. Learn to love and educate yourself and inform others about the impact human development and how to care for this planet and the creatures we share this planet with.

A little off topic; I find it antithetical that many people would clip a birds wing to own them as a pets. Being able to fly is arguably the main feature that makes birds so majestic and it is ironic to deprive them the ability to fly.

Not everyone is so stupid. Falconers don’t do this. There’s many responsible budgie owners who have massive flying enclosures with multiple birds bc they’re social creatures mostly

Is this is what TED is now ? Talks for 10 year olds ?
@rozkaz007 жыл бұрын
I will not :) Birds are cool. Fine. Glad you liked it. I didn't like the talk. It has nothing to do with what TED advertises. Not in topic nor the intellectual,cultural,etc depth one may expect. Look at their own description. "TED Conference, where the world's leading thinkers and doers give the talk of their lives (...) talks on Technology, Entertainment and Design -- plus science, business, global issues, the arts" Do you see any of that here ? If anything in this talk challenges your intellect, or understanding of the world, please tell me how old are you, and help me understand ? This guy is very nice, I'm sure he could do excellent presentation at any high school. PS What group do you represent when you say us ? Have you been elected for speaking for other people ?
