The blue bonnet with the buttons must have been very special. So much work invested in that one. Wouldn’t it be a wonderful subject for a children’s book about a mother or grandmother planning and sewing such a special bonnet? I often imagine the possible stories which might include treasured antiques. And your amazing life brings similar stories to so many. Thank you!

Oh that blue bed! You have such great BLUE pieces; I've always thought the best antiques were found in Pa and Ohio. I have one room dedicated to blues and reds, but I'm really a green person and mustard person. Like you, I have wanted a milking cow for years, but at my age, I cannot commit to the time she would require.

Red was always my favorite color then I got gob smacked with blue ticking. Loved seeing your blues and how special is your lovely blue sofa!!! The enamelware pots with spring flowers is a beautiful sight. Thank you for sharing such sweet treasures.

I use blue ticking pillows and quilts in the summer and have blue clothing hanging from pegs upstairs. In summer I also use seashells and seascapes.. Blue fabric covered boxes upstairs Your blue room is lovely. Every piece is appealing and has the worn charm I love too.

Oh how I enjoyed this and like Dave I also love the blue and especially that old cupboard. I truly believe that I was born in the wrong century as I love the old timeworn primitives and find that it instantly relaxes me. Blue is a very soothing, cozy and relaxing tone.
