I’m a Barista, and my goal is to be like her, explaining Coffee with a genuine smile, pouring her heart out at every cup. “One cup at a time”

She killed it. It's so hard to compete, but so happy she represented the US so beautifully on the world stage.

Coffee is everywhere but great coffee is hard to find. One cup of perfect espresso will change your whole coffee perspective.

I had the opportunity to meet and learn a bit from Sam and she was so down to earth and really just made you fall in love with the process. I wish I would have learned more from her

These competitions are incredibly corny and absurd with all this fluff and pomp, just serve the damn thing, drink, jot down what you think, and be gone.

Hi... my name is Sam and my eyes are closed because it makes you think that I'm so serious and espresso is really difficult to make unless you're like me. A young kid that has been a Barista for like 13 months. So I know what I'm doing. GTFO. Yeah... I'm a kid and will explain espresso to you like I invented it. Not like the Italians that invented it. I have an "American" take on it that's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy more important. It's ESPRESSO. I've been making it for almost 40 years now. It's not THAT serious. It's just knowing how to make a good espresso. The milk is the easy part. This is beyond pretentious. It's Italian and that's it. Nothing more.

All the coffee in shops I've tried were always too bland or too acidic to my liking, and I've bought so much coffee x.x I'm tired of it. it's not worth it's price. I think I want to experiment with decaf, at least i can avoid the caffeine bs.
