Years ago my band was fortunate enough to play a show with them. Mattie has a presence with him that is undeniable. The power he has to just draw you in when he speaks is incredible. About two years before fight the silence was released he was telling me about how human trafficking was overlooked in the US and we have been mislead into thinking it’s only in third world countries. He told me he wanted to make an entire album about it. Fast forward to now... the people have been exposed to the severity of everything he fought to expose. People like Mattie are the people the world needs to bring people together and bring out the passion to create a better world for everyone. 💪🏼

I think this song is about to become very relevant in the U.S. soon. The military either was about to or has labeled fundamental Christians as "extremists", and I don't think its gonna stop there. I was thinking about this video and how it's imagery is not very obvious in it's Christian message. I first thought, maybe they should have held crosses for had signs that said something about God, but the more I thought about it, It may have looked even more "UnChristlike" if they did that because.... Having a riot with crosses and stuff may look too much like very unchristlike groups: KKK, Westboro Baptists, etc And I'm positive that For Today does not want to look like those Ungodly people. That's just my two cents.
