I always thought that Alf and Lynn were the closest. She was such a beautiful, sweet, loving woman who always stood up for and loved Alf like a brother. They had a very special bond. It was always awesome when they were together.

So much has been cut from ALF episodes due to music licensing. During their "date" ALF & Jody request Alvin & The Chipmunks on the radio. That's why there's a weird cut when Lynn shows up. ALF can't hear her over the radio.

Plus, Alvin and the Chipmunks couldn't be used because of copyright strike. Now that the companies want more money, we can't afford it. If we want to put the song, it's just random songs or a dub we put on there. People would film the scene and turn the volume down instead. No Chipmunk songs, no Beatle songs, no scenes from Paramount, or nothing from Disney.

@@elgeneralxx It has nothing to do with that, it was for copyright reasons, from when the syndicated versions were made and even in the Warner Bros. DVD with mostly uncut episodes, this was still cut out, so it is for copyright reasons, but I'm not complaining because I still very much enjoy these versions.
