Forage for Fiddleheads (Comprehensive Guide)

Springtime brings out all the soft, tender edibles in the forest. One of my all-time favorites, is Fiddleheads. In this video, I cover how to identify common ferns, particularly Ostrich ferns. Plus, how to harvest, cook and preserve them to safely eat down the road. Enjoy!

I wasn't able to get any Ostrich fern fiddles but, I was able to get a lot of cinnamon fiddles. They're just as good. It's always a good idea to blanch a few minutes before actually cooking fully

Samuel Thayer had such a negative review of them, I couldn’t get myself to try them! I’ll harvest some next season, thanks ella.
