Look at you, tempting me with your Samhain herbs and winter berry tonic recipe, lol! I've got another class I have to do first, but this one's definitely on my list. Thx for the foraging videos. Just love them! My husband and I currently live in Arizona in the desert, but when we lived on the east coast I loved foraging for raspberries and other things. Definitely have to be moving back there soon!

The camp I worked at thís summer had wineberries growing alongside one of the trails. I wish the campers hadn't taken all of them because I've never tasted one, but the flavor nust be amazing with the summer sun and the good soil those berries grew in.

Hi my dad used to make all wines elderberry, rose hips, sap, elderflower, anything I’m trying to learn all the native plants etc in Ireland I love the country side x

I was picking blackberries in a bramble thicket to put on my yogurt this morning. The doggos were practicing their laying down, and staying down, for bites of yogurt covered blackberries.

Usually I would wait til the rosehips are soft and squishy. There won't be any hairs inside when they are like that. Squeeze out the pulp and enjoy. Extremely high in Vitamin C.

Hi Tara, absolutely loving your content. You are a tonic 😊. Regarding the comment you made about the willow basket, there is a wonderful weaver who moved here from England 5 years ago with her husband Alan. Not sure if you have already heard of her, Kate Burrows. They bought a cottage in Roscommon and have set up a fabulous homestead, where Kate teaches willow weaving etc. They are lovely people, and I think the two of you would get on really well. Made a tincture with Elderberries and Gin. Looking forward to using it when its ready. Currently shaking it daily for a few weeks. I think I have to strain out the berries. Maybe put a few on my porridge…😂 I have been warned!

The deer would always come and eat the Rose Hips off of my Mom's Rosa Regusa in the Winter for the vitamin C. Do you ever share your recipes? Maybe you should make a recipe book of native Irish jams, jellies, tonics, tinctures, etc. I would love to have one.💜
