Hi there! We shot on Arri Alexa with Canon Cine Zooms, mostly the 30 - 105 T2.8. We used an Ezy-Rig for the entire shoot so we could move fast and keep our coverage light. Happy to answer any other questions you have!

But since this 'digital blackface' is in the context of satire, I think it'd hit the mark, and the payoff to the joke would be hilarious.

You weren't saying it's ok, the negative reaction from everyone plus the shame of the main character is enough to illustrate that it was the wrong thing to do. So i do believe you can have your cake and eat it too. I do understand your keyboard warrior comment though, many people get easily offended and if you're pitching this show to stations it's probably best not to be too offensive, especially if it's the ABC.
