It’s always important to see what other “provisions” might have been snuck into a bill - I fully agree with you on that - and if Republicans have done that here they have foolishly built in an excuse for Democrats to vote against it. But, the illegal activities he mentioned ARE happening, intentionally. Proof of citizenship is a no brainer but Democrats have consistently opposed Voter ID - ironically, on the grounds that it amounts to voter suppression. One of the surest ways to suppress a citizen’s vote is to have it cancelled out by an illegal or fraudulent vote. States can decide who is eligible to vote and Democrats are systematically facilitating the illegal entry into our country of millions of potential Democratic voters, and paying them with taxpayer money for breaking our laws. Something must be done. Passing another law won’t solve to problems if we don’t enforce our laws. Getting lawmakers on record as supporting or opposing measures to safeguard our country and our elections won’t solve the problems, but it might be a helpful step.

IT IS CORRECT, THE 2ND AMENDMENT IS NOT ABSOLUTE, THE DUTY AND RIGHT TO ABOLISHMENT AND CREATION AGAINST TYRANNY ARE, HENCE WHY THEY ARE IN THE DELCARATION NOT IN THE CONSITUTION., BC THE CONSITUTION CAN BE AMENDED. MEANING THAT CONSITUTIONALLY THE ONLY WAY TO ALTER ARMS RIGHTS IS BY CONSIUTIONAL AMENDMENT BY CONGRESS REQUIRING 2 RDS OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ON BOARD.
