Why is a BILL needed to close the border? It was closed and managed under Trump, then Obiden propped it wide open to let the world in 'ILLEGALLY", and that wasn't enough. He has been flying them in at our expense, to include every criminal they could wrangle from the worlds prisons. VOTE!

Title 42 is what allowed the border to closed during Trump. It is an article under the border policy that allows the border to close during a health crisis or emergency. The Pandemic qualified to enact Title 42. Once the pandemic was ruled over. The border policy automatically went back to Title 8. By that time, there were already half a million people at the border who had been waiting for asylum during the pandemic
