This bill is a joke and so are all the previous ones passed. I’m a perfect example of what Kennedy is saying here. I’ve been extremely fortunate to keep my job and paycheck throughout this pandemic. I honestly did not need the previous stimulus checks and I don’t need this one. My wife and I made it a point to use that money for our childrens college funds. Billionaires made more money during the pandemic, than the cost of the bill. Congress needs to raise taxes on the rich and multinational corporations that do not sell or manufacture products that are 75% made in the USA. This will pay for the stimulus bill, reduce the debt and create well paying jobs.

If it's going to take $1.9 trillion to insure that Americans don't go hungry or cold, so be it. But why would I entrust administration of that money to the United States Congress? They spend our money on their pet projects and to pay for the financial failings of other politicians. People go hungry and cold not corporations or government agencies. The people's money should go to the people.
