@ That is a good question, which I appreciate. To be honest, I have lived in Southern California all my life and never really heard of her. To me, Brett Favre deserves respect for the amount of dedication to the sport and being a family man. I have respect for all of talented players and watched almost every Olympic sport this year, know that it takes a lot of perseverance to compete at a high level. Trust me, I rolled my eyes at LeBron when he played for Cleveland and Miami, welcomed him when he joined the Lakers, cried with him when Kobe Bryant passed, and was so pumped to see him lead America to a gold medal this year. What I respect most about him in this speech is that he told things like they are, did not incite violence, and only wants the best for America. So, perhaps that is a long way of saying that I would respect him if he did support Kamala Harris, but only if his speech was the same and that he had the same values. I have done my own research on many people supporting Kamala Harris, both celebrity and politicians, and there has been so much divisiveness that it is so discouraging. I saw a video the other day of a woman yelling hatefully in the face of a baby at the Kamala rally in Texas (the one where Beyoncé was supposed to “perform”). In what world is that right? I remember an America where we could tell jokes and not be afraid of being marginalized or cancelled or yelled at. I remember an America where we could disagree about politics, but still have coffee with one another. I remember an America where we were healthy and kids were not afraid to have fun outside. I think it is important to look at more than just the news sound bites. People should go in-person or online and look at the whole speeches, get feedback from rallies, and make an informed decision. We have far more in common than what separates us. God bless the USA!

@@KeilovesMizuho That was a great answer. I think Harris sometimes flew under the radar during her time in CA as Prosecutor, DA and Attorney General. She did secure a big loan buydown from banks during the home loan crisis of 2008-2012 when so many homes were 'underwater' (meaning their loans were higher than the value of the house). Her work saved many Californians from losing their homes, and she rarely gets credit for that. But so many Americans could care less about CA so her campaign doesn't really promote that.

I live about 4 miles from where he (Favre) grew up. I am Garbage ! I first had cancer at 15. Rather than quit school and enjoy myself before I died, I pushed on, even though reading is very difficult for me. Math and science were easy. In college it came back, the lymphoma, the bastard. So I changed my direction from Economics and went to medical school. I was 5 years behind, but I made it. Retardation became my focus and I was blessed to have trained in the top university in the world (for such studies). I made excellent money half of my week and gave free care the other half. The old devil on my shoulder has come back twice, but at the moment the cancer is at rest. Now after having paid into Socialist Security for 50 years, I am retired. I am Garbage, and very proud of it !
