The fact is there are several layers in our criminal justice system starting with the police, if they file charges the case goes to the DA, if the DA files charges the case goes to arraignment to decide merit, if that judge finds merit then it goes to court. This is where it gets interesting because there is a pool of judges for each district and the judge who gets the case is random then you have witnesses for both sides a jurors with their own opinions. To say that system is racist is lunacy specially for a judge to say it.
