Living in a border city, the Mexicans would drop their kids off at the border & walk into US, then walk to a school bus stop & ride the bus to the schools. Some parents would take their kids to the schools themselves or let their kids stay with family or friends Sunday night till Friday afternoon so they could attend American schools. The parents would use utility bills of family members, friends, or even pay people to use them so they could enroll their kids in our schools. Of course they couldn't speak English, so our classes were always way behind other schools because of all the time it was taking to translate to the kids and teaching them English. Also, the class sizes were huge and not enough desks to go around, so many of us had to sit on the floor. My Dad came to my classroom to get me one day and was livid to see me sitting on the floor when kids from Mexico were sitting in the desks, with my Dad being a tax payer that voted for improvement in schools, and seeing that it was being spent on non-citizens. From then on my Dad quit voting for any improvements for the schools until they quit allowing the illegals into our classrooms. Oh! He was especially infuriated to see an 18 yr old boy sitting in a desk that was also from Mexico, in a 4th grade classroom. The bleeding hearts can say all they want, maybe they don't mind their kids not getting the education their taxes are supposed to be paying for or that the schools are looking the other way at the number of laws being broken by the parents and facilitators for those kids to cross the border (illegally), register into public schools with fraudulent documents, and drain the taxes of the community, but the tax paying citizens are totally against it.

Many illegals that flood our borders, so thinking that when their spouse/significant other bears a child they will become a citizen. This is categorically incorrect. Because the birth of a child is linked to the citizenship of the parents. It was discovered in the early days of the Constitution, it was realized that a visitor such as a delegate that arrived in the United States, whose pregnant wife gave birth that would make the baby a CITIZEN. That would be disastrous to many visitors from some countries, especially those Countries that did not allow DUAL citizenship. When a Supreme Court Justice made a decision that a child born in the UNITED STATES would automatically qualify as a citizen, it was later deemed an error. I can’t explain here why it was such an error, but the basis is simple, automatic citizenship applies to parents that are already citizens. All the Rights of Citizenship, applies to American Citizens, because our Constitution is the “United States Constitution, NOT the WORLD Constitution. This was actually known in the early days of the United States, but birthright was not considered a problem until around three decades ago. DACA, is Deferred Deportation, nothing more. These Children, now in their 30’s and 40’s are still to,this day not citizens, and I bet they all vote, illegally, but they vote anyway.
