The way those guys were dropping their weapons, there must be Athanc Slime all over the place. Throwing in the skellibobs certainly ramped up the tension.

After watching some of your review for FP I ordered the books and expansions. Seems to have some of the feel and aesthetic of 1980's british rpgs and gamebooks overlaying a Mordheim-esque skirmish game. This really seems like a great little game.
