Arguably the scariest game on PS2. The butterfly effect storyline was gripping and the variety of monsters and spirits to outwit were phenomenal. AND there were no Cockney-speaking Japanese characters in this one! A class game all the way

Such an underatted game, this is probably my favorite game, the atmosphere it gives off is something you can never find elsewhere, same goes for the first game, Blood Curse was a mistake though, rather than "reimagine" the first game, they should have just made a 3rd one to complete a trilogy. The creator's probably wanted to try and pertain more to a western audience but having the cast all japanese makes it more unqiue imo.

Actually, there's an easier way without modifying your console or anything now that l think about it : the last version of "Swapmagic" can help you. lt is a software that makes your console launch all the ps2 games without worrying about the region thing or the model of ps2. l hope it helps ;-)

No it wasn't. It was released in East Asia as well as PAL Regions (Europe, Australia, New Zealand, etc). I'm glad I'm European because it's my favourite Siren game, hence one of my favourite horror games

No it wasn't. Only in Japan and PAL areas (Europe and Australia). I have it, since I live in France, but it didn't come out in NA because the first game was poorly received in that area

@@darkcoldsoul5730 El primer Siren tiene fama de ser uno de los juegos más difíciles de terror de todos los tiempos (sino el más difícil). Si el dos me parece frustrante y arcaico, no me quiero imaginar el 1 con varias mejoras que luego fueron implementadas. Te aviso, el juego va de misiones, por lo que no es survival horror convencional. Prima el sigilo, y la ambientación es lo mejor. La trama por lo que leí en Internet está más chula en la segunda parte. Y bueno, por eso me animé con el dos. Ambos son juegos difíciles pero el 2 es más variado, con lore superior y menos frustrante. La versión de ps3 la terminé justamente ayer, y es el juego más corto y fácil de la saga. Vendría a ser como un reboot/ remake del primero. Depende de lo que busques también.

Unfortunately they only released this game in Europe and Japan, not here in the U.S. :-( So you either have to buy a european copy along with a european PS2, or you have to illegally download it. Sucks pretty bad, because this game is definitely the best of all the Siren games they ever made.

Why couldn't siren blood curse be like this game? Siren 2 had Machine Guns and shit. And Blood Curse only Had bolt action rifles, double barrel shotguns, and a 32 caliber revolver.

Turbo_Egg_Salad idk resident evil code:Veronica X was extremely effective and it had automatic weapons. I think it's really just a matter of not trying to turn every god damn game into a shoot em up. I hate the fact that resident evil went down that path so many years ago and they're just now beginning to realize that that formula doesn't work and in fact drives away your fan base.
