I wonder if the concluding event of the book was its genesis, was it derived from original solutions to launching ark ships, how on earth could these ark ships be launched from sol system? Then the concept was dropped but reimagined as the finale of the book. The whole first will be last et et cetera.

Yeah, she's annoying, not *everything* is funny, especially not your own jokes... But thankfully Hamilton isn't put off, and is able to get his reasoning through the nonsense. Cringed at the queens and "equality" bit too; are these queens in the book really something to celebrate?
