Force FSR 3.1 on Unsupported Steam Deck Games - Huge FPS Boost!

Oh boy. Don't call this DLSS. You are going to confuse people. Decky Framegen takes the DLSS DLL and patches it to use FSR 3.1.

Thanks, as mentioned in the video I dont know what to call this, as the option in game is called DLSS, but my understanding is what you said - that it forces FSR 3.1

@@SteamFlow you got it. For games that do not have frame gen as a toggle you will use just the scaling option if 3.1. A good example is final fantasy 7 rebirth. You have to add the mod to have frame generation. You can use it with 3.1 with frame gen. And honestly couldn't be more confusing for somebody just using it to start

Its not working because of dx11 some games you need to switch to dx12 if there is an option. I am working on a workaround specially because of Bg3 mybe its possible . But i cannot make any promises.

Do you know of a list off all games this works on ? Ive tried a few so far like metro exodus and subnautica but its not working there and some games patching it makes it crash

I have provided a list of games that support DLSS, but it doesnt work for all, I've tried 20-30 games so far and only half of them work, its a lot of trial and error

Welp, on FF7 rebirth it's the reverse. I lose between 4 to 7fps on "DLSS" compared to TAAU. It looks better but less fps T^T

@ Yeah it wont work there because Elden Ring doesn't have DLSS or FSR by default. There is a separate mod you can download for Elden Ring to enable that
