This car is looker !!! Dear mannuj u have left no stone unturned in giving the gurkha a drool worthy makeover, have u given a thought about getting the three point seat belt for the rear seats This is what holding me back from getting my gurkha

Am working on a seat belt upgrade. Thing is a seat belt should be anchored to the vehicle frame. There are no anchor points in the rear. Will have to fabricate something. But for my use case i will probably remove the rear seats altogether. Save on weight and increase space for my dog. 🙂

Looks neat 👌. I have been looking to try my hands out on gurkha but sadly there is no dealership in uttarakhand. Still waiting. One question though- did you make changes with Gurkha branding at the front? I don't see Force logo at front on other Gurkhas.

Yes i changed the Logo. There is a separate video about the same. That isn't the Force Logo. I made that Khukri as a Logo for the Gurkha taking inspiration from the Khukri Logo found on the wing mirrors of the Gurkha.

Probably the Body Lift Kit thats been developed by Blue Garage in Bangalore. But am studying its effects further. Once im certain it has no negative impact on CV joint boot then i may go ahead. No verified information on the 5 door yet. We all know its under testing but the probable/definite launch dates have not been confirmed as of now.

@@IndianOverlander Thanks. Yes the Blue Garage kit seems to have straighten the lower arm too. I felt, that ride height is the actual default specs height cause lower arm tend to be straight, and so does the shaft too. Engine too didn't felt bottom out with it Not sure if force had reduce the suspension hight in first place to decrease the body roll at cost of ground clearance

Hi I have installed these iph projector fog lamps on my Gurkha but when I turn the vehicle with indicator on due to its cornering light feature the corresponding side fog light turns on this makes the color on the two lights miss match, could you please share how you managed to tackle this issue (assuming you used the OEM harness for the fog lamps)

By switching fog lamps on and off it resets. But now im using a different higher capacity fog lamp with high and low beam function by GVAA. I have reviewed it alongside the 2 year review of the Gurkha in a separate video.

@@IndianOverlander thanks a lot for the lightning fast reply oh I just realised I am using the AES projector fog lamps it doesn't reset when I turn it off and on I guess the only way to fix this is to use a separate harness all together.

With 245 75 16 tyres i have never faced any ground clearance issues. Now a lift kit is also available through Blue Garage Bangalore and this will increase clearance by 2 inches which i more than one needs.

Hello Manuj Bhaiya, One question, If we don't install the light base and drill them straight into the bumper, will that tamper with our air-bags?

The bumper is made of fiber and will need reinforcement. With the base plate the fitting is better. The base plate gets bolted to the bumper (nut and bolt..not screw and washer). Thus since ive fitted it behind the bumper it will not interfere with the airbag sensors. 🙂

Hi have seen multiple videos and really appreciate the passion u have for the vehicle what I wish to know is that if one is looking at a combination of family (city ) plus SUV which is 4x4 would u recommend this vehicle

Since its a 3 door i cannot recommend it for practical reasons for a family of 4. Within city its great to drive. On hills its great to drive. On highways it cruises at 80 to 90 kmph happily all day long. BUT if family of 4 then space is less. Also the service network needs to improve. That said at this PRICE there is nothing else available with this size, 4x4 capabilities, hard top and good suspension.

Glad to see your video after a gap. Off topic: Wanted to tell you since sometime that the size of your khukri logo seems a bit smaller. It will enhance the looks if you make the diameter a little more bigger and slant the khukri slightly. Refer to Mercedes logo on G-wagen for sizing. Just my thoughts..

Bhai Aozoom lights are for 9500 But after relay wiring kit, stand, switch and installation it was around 13,000/- The orange roof lights were 6500 plus 1500 for installation total 8000/-

But the issue was poor visibility on highway roads with stock Gurkha headlights. And Here we are fitting illegal auxiliary lights which should be covered on roads. So how will this be helpful?

On highways one can always remove the cover and use the lights. Its within the city that one may be challaned during the day. At night no one will notice them also in the city or highway when they are off. Switch them on when needed and if coming to a toll or check post switch them off at night. 🙂
